Your mind is a garden.
Your thoughts are the seeds.
You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.

Planting seeds of mindfulness and watching them grow into something beautiful
About me....
Yoga and Mindfulness Coach
I am delighted to offer a variety of yoga and mindfulness classes within my community to support children, parents, students, and teachers. Children can learn to practice yoga and mindfulness in a fun, nurturing environment while exploring breathing techniques that enhance their overall health. I enjoy collaborating with schools to help teachers create classroom environments tailored to their students' needs. My passion is to promote physical and mental well-being through yoga and mindfulness, as I believe that Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and mindfulness can empower both children and teachers to self-regulate and manage intense emotions, thereby supporting their overall well-being.

What I focus on
Helping children develop tools for self-regulation
Community Programs such as Mommy/Me Yoga & Small Group Classes
Stress Relief and Relaxation Techniques for teachers and students
Enhancing Emotional Well-being
Customized Mindfulness Coaching specific for teachers and students

Let's begin your journey of wellness by planting seeds of mindfulness and watching them sprout into something beautiful.
"Miss Becky has been gently leading young children through yoga techniques at the library for several years. She is a popular guest at programs and the children especially love her singing bell. Always calm and patient, Miss Becky incorporates yoga moves into stories that even the littlest children can do, and it is always fun to watch the parents working out alongside their preschoolers. Bring your yoga mat and join us for the best fun you can have on a Friday morning."
- Jo Ayres, Children’s Services Manager
Charlotte Mecklenburg Library
"Becky is such a wonderful and comforting instructor. Her knowledge and calming demeanor let students find their inner peace and soul. She is truly a gift and inspiration to all."
- Cathy Cohn,
4th Grade Teacher
“Your yoga classes provided something special that the students need- a way to calm their bodies and minds and find the connection between both. By using the techniques you taught them, students were better able to regulate their emotions and focus on challenging tasks. Teaching mindfulness helps all of us in dealing with the chaos and unpredictability of life.”
- Miriam Spitzer Franklin, Middle School Teacher
